Middle and High

Developing students into mature and driven young men and women who are prepared both academically and spiritually for college, career, and life.

Preparation for College, Career, and Life

The middle and high school years are a critical part of every student’s education. At Rose Hill, our goal is to help your child navigate these years with compassion and intentionality. We make sure that our students are prepared not only academically but emotionally and spiritually for a successful life after high school.

Academic Excellence

Strong Language Arts

Our strong Language Arts curriculum flows from elementary grades into our middle school and high school. Students in grades 7-12 study in the Bob Jones Grammar and Literature textbooks continuing to build upon the foundations laid in elementary school. They also study 4 classic novels in each grade, as well as study vocabulary each week to strengthen their scores on standardized tests.

Dual Credit

Students can accumulate 26 credit hours + of college credit before graduating high school. Our Dual Credit partnerships with ACTC and Morehead State University allow our Juniors and Seniors who meet minimum requirements to earn college credit while in high school. Three of our core teachers hold post-secondary degrees and credentials which allow them to teach college courses on our campus.

College-approved Science Lab

Students in all middle and high school grades have access to a college-approved Science Lab in which to conduct their experiments and lab activities.

Standout Educators

Our biggest strength is our teachers! Our middle and high school teachers get to know our students well. They build lasting relationships with our students and go above and beyond to help them reach their potential. They care about each child, pray for them by name, and give extra time before and after school as needed.

Developing Spiritual Maturity

We understand how challenging the middle and high school years can be for students and parents to navigate. At Rose Hill, we believe that by focusing on building Christian character above all else we can help your child not only succeed academically but thrive emotionally and spiritually.

We give our students opportunities to grow their Biblical knowledge, serve their community and local church, and learn how to show the fruits of the spirit in all aspects of their school life. Our goal is to give our students spiritual growth that will guide them throughout the rest of their life.

A Place to Belong

Every parent wants their child to have friendship and a community that they can trust. At Rose Hill, we aim to provide a culture that gives every student a place to belong, whether it be the classroom or one of our many extra-curricular activities. We make it a priority to find places for all of our students to thrive and feel accepted and because of this, our students build friendships at Rose Hill that last a lifetime.
