School Board Members
Tom Stephens, Rose Hill School Board Member (2012-Present)
I am 72 years old, married to Linda Dameron Stephens for 48 years. We are both retired school teachers/coaches/administrator. We have two children, Lora, an elementary art teacher, Thomas a P.A. with Dr. E. B. Gevedon allergist in Ashland. We have four wonderful grandchildren, one of which is a student at Rose Hill.
I have served on the school board on two different occasions and in between served as a part-time guidance counselor for the school from 2001 to 2008.
My wife and I have been active at Rose Hill Baptist Church since 1999. We both love our wonderful church family and are blessed to be able to work for other’s good and God’s glory, especially in the Rose Hill Christian School ministry.
Our prayer for the school is that it would grow numerically and spiritually and young boys and girls would come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and be equipped to serve Him with their lives.
Wayne Lewis, Rose Hill School Board Member
Hello, I’m Wayne Lewis. My wife Carol and I have been part of the Rose Hill family for 4 years. We have been married 46 years and we have been active in Church for 37 years together. I consider it very humbling to be a part of the School Board at Rose Hill Christian School. You have my word I will do my very best and will always seek God’s counsel and spiritual discernment in any decision I am asked to make.
I have a BS in Accounting and an MBA, both from Morehead State University. I am 65 years old and recently retired after 37 years working in Accounting and Finance at Ashland Oil (25 years), Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital (5 years) and Kings Daughters Medical Center (7 years). While I have no administrative experience in education, I do have teaching experience. I taught Accounting and Business part time at Ashland Community College (now ACTC) from 1983 to 1989 and Kentucky College of Business in Lexington, KY from 1992 to 1998. While at Kentucky College of Business, I was also the student adviser.
