Rose Hill Christian School is pleased to offer dual credit courses in combination with Ashland Community and Technical College. A dual credit course is one in which students receive credit from RHCS for an honors or AP core subject as well as college credit awarded by ACTC. Each year we evaluate the need for the types of courses to offer.
Students qualify for any of these courses based on academic performance, work ethic, and personal responsibility:
1) Students score in the 85th percentile or above on C.A.T. testing in reading and in the content-specific areas of the Dual-Credit, Honors/AP classes in which they plan to enroll.
2) Students applying for dual-credit courses must also have an ACT English score of 18, a reading score of 20, or a mathematics score of 19. The Plan scores may be used if no ACT scores are available, or the Compass test may be taken at ACC.
